Smoke aromas

Strict control of impurities such as PAHs (polycyclic hydrocarbons) at regular intervals, in accordance with the strict legal requirement (review every 10 years by the EU and EFSA).

The composition of primary smoke aromas is very well understood and risk assessments have been conducted.

Pure Smoke® aromas are made up of more than 150 individual components which, when combined, create the unique beech wood flavour and facilitate the function of beech wood smoke.

Smoke aromas play an important part in the flavour development of vegetarian and vegan products, as well as in the snack, soup, broth and meat industry.

The Pure Smoke® products of the RP series are powdered smoke flavors that are coated with various carriers.​

Oil-soluble products

The L Series Pure Smoke® products are smoke flavors dissolved in vegetable oil. They have a special characteristic and represent interesting added value, not only in fatty applications.​

Water-soluble products

The Pure Smoke® products of the R series are smoke flavors that are dissolved in water in all concentrations. This makes them particularly suitable in brines or watery infusions.
